Without going through all the boring details of my rather short existence, I will attempt to give you a run down as to who I am, as non-exciting as it may be.

I am a fully qualified electrician who made the jump into IT just before the .com had its crash. Great timing! I completed a Bachelor of Multimedia at Griffith Uni, got a job at Griffith Uni and migrated down to Bond Uni where I am still there nearly 7 years later. During that time I managed to get married and increase the world’s population by one little munchkin.

Work

I am currently working as an Application’s developer but seem to be doing more project management than any actual programming at the moment. I co-wrote an IT Account Activation System along with some management tools for Bond. This allows students to activate their accounts online before coming to the University while allowing the support staff to monitor this process and reset passwords if necessary.  This system seems to be working very well so far.

• Microsoft SharePoint
• Apreso (now Echo 360)

I also enjoying doing some web design work on the side when I have a chance. This is getting harder now that I have father and husband responsibilities around the home, however a recent site which I have completed is www.iconenergy.com

Family Life

As mentioned before, I am married and have been since Jan 2005. I also have an eleven month old son (at the time of this writing). My wife is exceptionally talented at Accounting, at being a mum, playing computer games and cooking. James my son is exceptionally talented at waking me up at 6am every morning. He is also the happiest, good natured little boy in the world. Of course he has inherited his father’s good looks as well.
